Refunds, replacements and repairs

You are entitled for a refund, replacement or repair of MTN products if they are found to be:

  • • Damaged during its delivery between the seller (Montana Colors Australia) and the recipient. Evidence of the damages must be taken immediately upon the unpacking of the goods.
  • • Faulty and the product is not suitable for use.
  • • Malfunctioning during its intended use and does not work.
  • • Not of merchantable quality

 

We are not required to provide refunds for MTN products if they were purchased through our stockists. Refunds can only be granted between you and the original seller.

However, if the product is found to be

  • • Faulty and the product is not suitable for use.
  • • Malfunctioning during its intended use and does not work. If the product is used intentionally in a manner that it is NOT designed for, you may not be entitled for a refund, replacement or repair.
  • • Not of merchantable quality

 

And you do not wish to claim a refund, you can contact us directly for either a replacement or repair of the goods. Proof a purchase is required from the stockist you have purchased the goods from, within a reasonable time.

You are NOT entitled for a refund if:

- you discover the goods can be purchased cheaper elsewhere (except where the seller provides a guarantee that the goods cannot be purchased cheaper elsewhere)

- you examine the goods before buying and ought to have seen any obvious fault

- The defect is drawn to your attention before buying (for instance, when goods were labeled as seconds, or faults were clearly marked)

- You have damaged the goods by using them in a way they were not meant to be used.

 

Sale items

Sale items are eligible for a refund. If the sale item contains faults that were not listed or mentioned at the time of purchase, you are entitled to a refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, replacement or repair.

If you are approved, then your refund, replacement or repair will be processed.

Refunds will be processed through the original method of payment at the time of purchase.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

I. Damaged during its delivery to your location

II. Found faulty and not working as intended

III. Represented incorrectly through our online store

If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at australia@montanacolors.com to organise an exchange

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Please contact us directly to settle the conditions for the return shipment of product.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
